Paz Kirkegaard, a nineteen-year-old community college student and daughter of a newly elected U.S. Congressman, finds herself in the middle of a mysterious kidnapping plot after a rebellious moment leads to a date gone wrong.
Not knowing who is behind the abduction scheme, Paz and her family do not know who they can trust, so they take matters into their own hands, and end up crisscrossing the United States in their attempt to expose and foil their kidnappers.
